Jen's 6th birthday - January 2011

Just a couple of pictures of my sweet little Jenny from her 6th birthday party in January. Jen decided that she wanted an ice cream social at the house for her and a bunch of friends....with all the fixings. There was 3 different kinds of ice cream, hot fudge, caramel, nuts, oreos, whipped cream, gummie bears, M&M's, bananas, and of course cherries for the top. The kids all got to make their own bowl of ice cream which was pretty funny to watch (some were very reserved about the toppings while others went hog wild!) We played games, had a pinata, ate cupcakes, and opened presents.....and celebrated this beautiful girl turning 6.

Christmas - 2010

Some random shots from Christmas 2010 - - us picking out our Christmas tree, the girls decorating the tree all by themselves, and Christmas morning opening gifts. The last picture is photographic proof that we go overboard with the gifts every year (just in case one of them ever doubts the piles and piles of stuff they end up with, despite my efforts to cut back each year to a more manageable amount.)

One special memory from Christmas 2010 - - our final gift to the girls that day was the news that I was pregnant. They both got very excited! At that point the baby was the size of a kumquat, so I got one at the grocery store and wrapped it up for Ron to open.  :)

Family fun at the park - November 2010

It was one of those really chilly yet sunny and beautiful days in November when we decided that some fresh air would do us all some good. We headed to "purple park" (the name that the girls gave to the park at the middle school where we live) and I remember I was very COLD. I also happened to be pregnant at the time! Just a few shots to remember that fun day.........
